The problem with the hoover idea is that there's a central vac. It could be that the central vac was added recently but, still, the ceiling is 15' high - that's a long reach to plug in the cord.

It's reachable by ladder when the fan's stopped but why is it there? What appliance do Canadians operate on a dangling cable?

ReplyDeletewe have one like this in our office, to connect the hover/vacum, easier to navigate around the room. i think the fan is the new addition.
