At present the trees are in colour.

There are several lakes and the route crosses the Grand River numerous times.

This is horse country, not the sort of estate where members of the Caledon Hunt keep their horses but I pass numerous tack shops and riding stables as well as lots of backyards with planks balanced on oil drums.

This seems to be the end of the season for driving large machinery over plants.

These trees are just outside Shelburne, just down the road, perhaps rotting corpses are good for colour.

It's all very pleasant and, in early October, it's still warm enough to drive an open car in shirt sleeves.
Stunning , simply beautiful. Makes the waiting and worrying about P.R etc. worth it thanks
ReplyDeleteI can't argue with that but if you go right back to the beginning of the blog, or forward a couple of months, it all looks very very different!
