Noisy River. September, October, November.

This is pretty much the range of seasonal weather we experience. It's very much a three season climate with one of those seasons taking up most of the year.

Warm and sunny:

Warm and sunny but with colours to stir foreboding:

Cold and snowy:


I expect there's also waterfall-freezing cold but I doubt I'll be trudging into the woods to record that.


In most seasons walking in the woods and throwing sticks is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. In the long one it's bloody hard work, even after ATVs have flattened the snow a bit.
