50/50 between leaving it and having the farrier glue it together. Apparently there's some sort of equine epoxy which can be used if part of the hoof falls off or if it looks like it's going to fall off.
In the meantime Dixie's getting around ok, she lurches but keeps up with the others.
Ouch. I bet it's a huge relief though. Will you continue soaking it, or apply a poultice, or will it just heal on its own?
