Since the parts were labelled for retail we were able to see that it's markedly cheaper to buy in bulk and that's just comparing the price of parts that are sold over the counter. Half a sheep.
Arrived from the sheep farmer. There'd been some confusion about whether or not we wanted it so he'd shrink wrapped it for retail sale. We reassembled it as best our knowledge of sheep anatomy allowed.

Lucky then, with all the extra bits, it wasn't a ram!

ReplyDeleteOne eyeball?!
Ewe!!!
That bit went to the dog. The farmer said that it would make good stock, but I just couldn't deal with the thought that the eyeball might burst in the heat and leak eyeball fluid into the stock. I'll eat a hell of a lot of strange things, but eyeball fluid is not one of them. I don't know whether the dog ate it or buried it. I didn't care, so long as it left my sight!
